September 21, 2021 – Interactio has received the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certification, signifying our commitment to secure the processing of health data. A 3-month-long, 4-part certification process was carried out by an independent third-party auditor, who confirmed that our services meet the highest security standards.

Mandatory for most health organizations in the US, as well as their business associates, HIPAA is the universal standard for protecting sensitive patient data. Although Interactio is based in the EU, we work with companies from 111 countries and constantly develop our security procedures to meet the best security practices around the globe.
